I need Inspection

I know i havent posted here in a while but i sold my trans am. I am looking at a new car now but I need a place that will GUARANTEE me inspection. The only thing im worried about is that the car im looking at has a custom true duals w/o cats. I have no problem paying extra but i need a sticker. Any1 know anybody that will do it for me. There is nothing wrong with the car, leaks, squeeks, SES light etc...

Is it really loud? If not, try DMV, if they don't look to hard you should pass....

well i would hope that you get a lazy inspector who doesn't check for cats. then have the rear o2's tuned out so when they plug the car in for the obd-II test, no codes come up and all the monitors are set

Don't even bother trying to go through the DMV. You're going to need to get a private shop to get you a sticker. As long as you have no codes/SES light you can get a legit one.

I know of a place ( I think iam not shure) That if your car is 95 and older, meaning 95,94,93....etc they'll pass you. I think it has something to do with computers. I may be wrong tho..............

I passed at DMV with cats "that seemed to be missing some internal parts" at Route 38 in Lumberton/Mount Holly. They looked long an hard at the car, because without "fully functioning" cats, the car will smell rich, but the computer was clean so they passed it. I wouldn't recommend it. With no cats (or something that resembles them) in sight I'd say you have a very good chance of failing.

yes they still sell leaded gas at the track but the leaded gas clogs up the cat so i cant run it if i put a cat in. and i no my car would fail at the dmv it smells real strong

Leaded wipes out O2 sensors too, no?

'back in the day' I had a cat in my 3rd gen with header flanges on both sides. 6 bolts, in & out.

Yes it will.

And Z28Rob, why are you running 110 race gas to go low 13s?
