2010 Ford Mustang

Ehh...not that happy with it. Lower fascia looks odd. Hood is all over the place, but the interior is pretty nice looking.
Pricing for GT Premium will be 50 bucks cheaper then the 1SS model.

Imagine a cobra badge in the grill, a spoiler on the back, and a massive mark up that the market won't support.

Can't say I care for it. I don't like the current cars looks too much and this doesn't look much different.

They are supposed to step the performance up a lot in response to the pending Camaro release. We will see if they follow through on that.

Someone on another board pointed this out... Ford should give GM credit for using Camaro headlights...

Pathetic... LS1 came out 11 years ago...

I thought the 09's got a bump from the 08's from 300-315...If thats true that really lame unless its highly underated.

Way too much plastic on the front of the car...especially around the grill. Looks very cheap...no wonder it's affordable.

it looks just like the camaro and will probably be available beforehand. the new camaro is a joke that gm blew its wad on show queening around for hte last 5 years. good job gm. letting ford steal your thunder yet again. i guess thats why the mustang outselling the camaro has become the norm.

highlights.. sequential LED taillights, no more gas cap, if you crash, it automatically turns on the hazards and sounds the horn, and 315 hp in the v8, 210 in the v6...

hehe

still solid rear axle? no good. they got heat in 2005 for doing that and you think they would learn their lesson by now. and while their at it, its time to change the whole lineup of drivetrain options. not a good call on ford's part

Ehh...Mustang was moved up 6 months to be in time with the Camaro. Both will be available for first quarter 09.
And Camaro around for 5 years?
Jan 2006:Concept
July 2006: Approval for production
Jan 2007: Convertable Concept
Mid 2008: Public showing of production car
Late 2008: Producton Starts
March 2009: In dealer show rooms.
My math, from concept to production is 3.5 years. From green light to production, 3 years. From concept to showroom, 4 years

None of that is 5. I understand that you dont like the 5th gen, but dont think that your hatred for the car will cover up your horrible math skills.

As for stealing thunder, Ford is the one that rushed the MCE Mustang so that its thunder would not be stolen.
And by the way, October 13th to the 31st, 7k Camaros sold. Wana find me the sales numbers of the Mustang?

Eh, the enthusiasts wanted the SLA, and when I say enthsuisasts I mean Mustang owners who have had no problem driving a 25 year old chassis in 2004. Mustang wont see an IRS set up till they merge it with the future Falcon chassis from Oz. Thats 3-4 years down the road, if we get there.

As for this Mustang, its all new sheetmetal and interior, but chassis and powertrain changes little.
Talks of the big ol 5.0 badge making 400hp is in full swing yet again, and we will have to wait till then.

I’d rather get a II…it’s a lot lighter…imagine that with an LS/T56 setup. Deadly. Hhmmmmmmmm…..

They don’t have to if GM tanks and the Camaro never comes…..(oooh that has to hurt Al’s soul)
