They are good quality helmets but are up their in price. My Icon Domain was one of the top of the line models about a year ago. Its very comfortable, cuts down on outside noise, and has good ventilation. Some top brands are Suomy, Arai, ICON, & HJC just to name a few.

Like I said on UBG are planning on buying a jacket?

Learn to ride the bike before you worry about going to the drag strip. You don't need leathers until your over 130mph if I'm not mistaken, which a F4i won't be doing.

just make sure the helmet has all the current dot and snell ratings on the INSIDE of the helmet. check the shell for cracks as well.

exactly my plans. I probably wont even have this bike for long I just thought it was a decent starter bike at an incredible price.

i have an icon jacket, i loved the quality and it had a removable liner for colder weather riding. i also had joe rocket gloves but then switched to another brand with leather all around in addition to the carbon fiber(i think) backings. I also suggest you invest in a pair of draggin jeans if you don't get leathers just yet. Also, on a helmet, dont just get a smoked sheild, itll suck at night driving if you ever need to put it down, my friend learned the hard way in NC during a freak downpour. I always just ran a clear sheild with sunglasses on.

My personal understanding is that price grows exponentially while protection grows only slightly, i.e. an HJC will protect around the same as an Arai. If it is DOT and Snell approved you are in a good place. That being said: buy new and buy what fits.

i have an arai helmet. i really do believe that they are well worth the price. dont go cheap on a helmet. you only get one head, protect it. i have alpinestar jacket and gloves. went down at a fairly low speed and everything held together quite well. you get what u pay for. as for the track. if you mean drag racing, i think alex is correct its either 120-130mph. but u should really consider wearing at least a 2 piece zip together suit. if you think about it, youll prob do at least 100mph. all it takes is one **** up and you are gunna be in a whole world of hurt.

baddest434 i laughed my ass off at that one.

So I just went to the honda dealer and payed off my bike.. While I was there I tried on about 20 helmets. I have to say I really liked the Icon helmet I tried on(the only one in my price range.)

Has anyone heard of scorpian? They were a little cheaper then the Icon but didn't feel quite as nice, They did how ever have sun visors that came up and down at a switch,it was really cool....

my friend crashed his bike wearing a scorpion helmet he actually pushed his head into the ground so he would slide on the helmet instead of his shoulders, and the helmet did its job very well.

so get whats comfortable...that's the main thing cause if its not comfortable its gonna be a distraction
