I have a book from my father with players in it from 75's. you went to the supermarket, and they would give you these stickers to put in the book. I believe my dad has all the players for it. Lets not forget the old Canucks jersey, which was just a ice rink with a stick in the center, also before they were the Colorado Rockies ( New Jersey Devils) they were also the Kansas City Scouts, the Atlanta Flames, and also the Pittsburg Penguins, whn their Jerseys were Blue and white instead of Black!

you make it sound like the devils were all those teams.
the atlanta flames became the calgary flames and i'm not sure what you're trying to say about the penguins.

I do what I can. What Im saying is how different the league was 30 years ago. There was only 18 teams, now theres 30. Also the change in where teams were at, and also the names of the teams. Someone brought up the seals, and reminded me of the book I have. and as for the penguins, I totally forgot they werent always black. They were a Royal blue, with a crappy penguin with a pissed face on the jersey. Also the Kings had this annoying purple and yellow color scheme going. the way the colors were back them if you stared at the game to long, oyu might have a seizure.

My grandfather was a manager at acme.Thats where those hockey stickers came from.Me and my brother had stacks and stacks of them back in the day.Pretty sure I still have some packed up in a box.I have a nice collection of WHA (World Hockey Association)Pennants from the 70`s.My dad bought me one every time we went to a game.Heres a few for you off the top of my head,Alberta Oilers,New England Whalers,Minnesota fighting saints,Cleveland crusaders,Toronto Toros.I also have a philadelphia Blazers wha inaugural game puck that was given to all fans who attended the home opener. There is a really good story that goes with this. The game was held on 10/13/1972 which ended up being a friday night.Friday the 13th to be exact.Well the game was never played and ended up being cancelled because the ice was bad and had alot of cracks in it.All I remember is people were pissed and everyone was throwing their pucks out onto the ice.It was a sea of red flying thru the air.Im just glad I kept mine. For those that dont remember the WHA the starting goalie for the Blazers was none other than Bernie Parent.I actually talked to Bernie one night at a flyers game about that blazers game from way back in 72

So I cant get that jersey right now. I broke my stick last night and ended up getting a used S17 because all the new sticks they had I didn't like the curve and I needed a stick real quick, I also spent some money on a new pair of gloves and I am amazed! I got eagle x6's They are just as comfortable as the x7's I wanted but about $50 cheaper!

Consignment sports is a great place. I got $50 for old skates and a LAX stick. They wouldn't take anything else because it was so beat up..
