The pictures look good, but theirs something about the editing that's drawing away from the color of the SOM car.

I think when you edited the pics you lost the wow factor of SOM. The pics would have been good, but I think you may have over edited them or just didn't have the lighting needed to show off the SOM.

skinnyguy, post up a pic straight off the memory card, did the paint of the camaro pop before you touched the pics up?

nice cars, yours cleaned up pretty nice in that last pic
as for the som dilemma, it seems that it was overcast in most of the pics so the paint wasn't popping. the pics that have good shadows, like 4 and 5, seem to be showing the paint a little better. just my thoughts.

not at all, so conclsion the lighting was a major factor because of the overcast, as we should all know metallic colors always appear to have a different shade depending on light for example my teal metallic firebird i had would be blue in the bright sun and green in the shade.

I think the problem is the SOM is blending too much with the brick... too much red going on. The photos of the SOM without the brick BKG looks really good, because it brings out its color. Its like putting a hunter green-colored car in a woods full of pine trees, you dont get that *BLAOW* effect. Just giving you a tip... also, try to always keep the front rim facing the camera, nobody wants to see tire tread unless its a full frontal picture. Good picture taking though. *Thumbs up*
