Ticketmaster Sucks
I just got an e-mail for special AC/DC tickets for $29.50. I clicked the link to look for tickets and the tickets are $26.50 plus $3.00 for a Building Facility Charge for $29.50. However, Ticketmaster charges an additional $10.25 per ticket on top of this as a Convenience Charge. What a joke. The Convenience Charge is more than 30% of the ticket charge.

Well.....I guess it's convenient for Ticketbastard to rape you for another $10.25!

NastyEllEssWon I agree. However it is disgusting that Ticketmaster makes over $10 per ticket. Also, I think they charge you per ticket to mail them. It costs the same to mail 8 tickets to one address as 1. Also, if you decide not to mail them and print them instead, they charge you a fee to print your tickets. It is such a scam.

I would prefer that the money goes to AC/DC and not Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster is under investigation for a lot of shady business practices. I know the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs tore them a new ******* a little while back.

My metallica tix were less than $100.
I understand PNC is adding $6 per ticket for parking!

That cheap for AC/DC tickets? My AC/DC tickets for the last tour was like 100 bucks ea for SEATS!
My Metillica tickets $95.00 after all the bs fees. The base price was like 64 bucks. My spot was right on the railing infront of James as he opened the show with that was just your life at the philly show in January.
I got the same pit tickets for the Sunday show at the garden in Nov. So looks like another 8 hours waiting in line to be up front again!!

Yup....Ticketmaster FTL
You waited 8 hours to be upfront Metallica?? I saw them at the Pru Center and we got there half hour before the show and were still on the railing. Just bought tix for the MSG show.

Yeah I had to like if i showed up a half hour before the show we would have been in the way back. Metclub entry FTW. This was the show in Philly.
I have an extra ticket for the Saturday show at MSG in the 300 section. Slow work internet FTL caused me not to get GA for Saturday's show but I got GA with metclub early entry on Sunday

There's a difference between making a buck and marking something up 30% just for taking an order and mailing out a ticket. I'm sure they incur some fees as well but it can't be that much.

Absolutely. Not to mention they have little competition from other vendors.

Band usually don't get anything from tickets money.
They get paid (for example) 5000 for concert and organizer paying for flight, hotel, food etc
All the profit from tickets goes to organizer of the event.
