thinking about new wheels...

Im debating on getting a set of repro C6 Z06 thin-spoke wheels in all black.
I just cant decide yes or no though. I can get them for $524 shipped.

I currently have the silver painted 10 spokes on my Pewter SS. I have though about just painting a set of 10 spokes black like i did with my Denali's tahoe rims. They held up great with the prep work i did. But i refuse to paint my stock oem wheels, id have to buy another set. I have brand new tires at home ready to get mounted so i gotta decide soon, like within a month.

I dont need new wheels, but it would give the car some more attitude now that the stripes are gone. OR do i wanna keep it looking mainly stock and like a simple camaro....decisions decisions decisions...

talk me into buying the z06 wheels OR talk me out of it...

btw... ive already spent over 3k on mods for 2 of my other vehicles in the past few weeks... lol

also, can someone maybe use photoshop to make my wheels in the pic black so i can get a better idea to base my choices on...

Argh, enough with black wheels and vette wheels. Come on Paul, do something that hasn't been done 10000000 times on this site alone. I expect more from you.

lol, i posted a while back about looking for new wheels and how the only ones i could find were vette style or TT2s...

i would really like a 5 spoke wheel in a gold/bronze finish but nothing exists. And powdercoating a boring old GM 5 spoke doesnt appeal to me.

IF i can find my perfect wheel, ill spend like 300 a rim. after that it doesnt pay imo..

Forgeline and others have powdercoating options.

i hate wheels with rivets... lol. i know i am difficult, my female friends tell me all the time

if that wheel came w/o rivets(it may) AND bronze/gold... maybe.. but then i bet it'dd be like 600 a rim... (more than a whole set of the z06 wheels, haha)

Hell, i may be better off just getting a set of 17" speedline wheels and powdercoating them...
