You know you are from Northwest/Central West Jersey when...
Got to talking with a buddy of mine about how typical Jersey stereotypes don't apply to Northwest and Central West Jersey. So we started coming up with some west jersey stuff.
You know you are from NW Jersey when:
... you know who Hot Dog Johnny is and you own a T-Shirt
... you know where Flemington Speedway used to be
... somebody tries the "What exit are you from" joke with you and you reply back "what the **** is the parkway"?
... you laugh when people complain about trucks on the highway because you were trained on Rt 78.
... you can smell a deer on the side of the highway at 500 yards
... you know that river people are "a little different"
... you know where the first Friday the 13th was filmed
So what else you guys have?

Recorded in Blairstown.
For bonus points where did the cast stay when they were filming?

You know you're from NW NJ when you have a southern drawl for an accent.

How about for the Essex County folk:
- You've eaten at Holstens, Rutt's Hut, The Hearth, The Hot Grill or Jimmy Buff's
- You have been to several locations where "The Sopranos" was filmed
- You know that Tony's in the Park is better than J.J.'s, but you'd gladly eat either
Now for us Sussex County folk:
- Upon hearing where you live, someone almost always makes a joke about sheep humping
- You know exactly where The Chatterbox is
- You get stuck in "Fair Traffic" every August
- You can direct people on how to get to your home in relation to Wild West City or Space Farms
- You know that Tractor Supply Co carries so much more than tractor supplies
- You are not surprised to see black bears wandering your property
