oil pan question

i am swapping a 1992 corvette lt1 into my 1996 trans am. the oil pans are slightly different. I dont think i will have a problem with the vette pan hitting anything but i just wanted to ask around and see if anyone has done this swap before(i know thousands of camaro and trans am owners have corvette engines in their cars but i need someone who has a corvette, corvette engine)

thanks in advance

Jim

And or, replace the oil pump, oil pump drive, and weld the pick up onto it.
