Drivers license status

Ok does anyone know of a site that you can check if your license is suspended?? I just got pulled over earlier because supposedly my license is suspended for a ticket I already paid. I went to the DMV yesterday morning and they said nothing. My insurance company pulled my records yesterday and didn't say anything about it being suspended either. I JUST went to the NJ MVC site and clicked on the Pay Restoration fee, put my info, and it says I have no restoration fee to pay. WTF?!?!!?! SO i'm trying to see if there is a way I can find out before tomorrow.

the cop was being a D1ck, if you go to the DMV make sure to get a print out and go to court with that.

there is a number the dmv specifies for suspensions, its in the phonebook. just because you have a restoration fee paid doesn't mean the license is valid. i pay that as soon as my license is suspended.

whenever you pay your fines or restoration fees they usually give you a piece of paper with a yellow receipt stapled to it. normally you wanna keep any and all documentation they give you INSIDE your car. that way if you get pulled over by a police officer and the computer still shows it, you can show the officer you took care of it.

thats happened to me once before it was the only time i ever was pulled over by a hamilton cop and also wasnt searched at the same time.

nobody is going to go out of their way to tell you whats up with your situation. come one now its the mvc! if he was suspended by a judge for not paying a ticket, it won't be lifted till the judge says so. probably should go to the courthouse and straighten it out.

Well I finally got this license crap straightened out. The ticket was in fact paid before the deadline 9/24. It was paid 9/20. However, I had a ticket back in June 9th, which was paid for, as well as the restoration fee. I called and I was told it was restored but apparently it wasn't. But since the restoration fee was paid, it was coming up online as not suspended. So it's been suspended since June 9th... I drove across the country with a suspended license!! LOL. Crazy ****. The DMV chick said she restored it as of June 9th so the ticket i got on friday will be thrown out. Whats really weird is ive been pulled over at least 5 times since June... Nothing came up.. Weird.
