bought new beater...q on tax/registration

just bought an 03 crown vic and got insurance on it today, but i wont be able to get to the dmv since its hours suck balls and coincide with my work schedual. have the title in hand signed etc from previous owner...but...

can my mother or a friend take my title, insurance and go pay the tax and get plates/registration? or does it HAVE to be me since i purchased it?

no you cannot have them do your paperwork. the only exceptions are dealers clerks with photocopies of all needed documents.

i see your Mk8 and raise you this supercoupe btw...mk8s and tbirds ride on the same Mn12 platform....if the tbirds highest model is a super ''coupe'' that makes the mk8 a coupe.

Sedans are supposed to have four doors, coupes are supposed to have two. Go to your local Chevrolet dealership and ask them about the new Camaro Sedan and see what they say

MN12 ftw. That should have been the future of all Ford performance. Would have been nice if ford put the Tbird, Cougar and Stang on the same platform. Would have been revolutionary for its time.
