drove a '10 camaro v6 today..
my friend is in the market for a new camaro..so i went with her for some test drives this morning..
first one was dark cyber gray 2LT, loaded..with the $5000 optional 21 inch wheels...ride and power seemed nice, but a tad harsh with the 21's.. (didnt drive, rode in the back, salesman up front). slow test drive only main roads around 30-40 mph..
second one was a 1LT...light silver...this place gave us the the keys and said 'go' which was awesome...so really got to test it out a bit. she drove for awhile, then we switched. i got in, turned off traction and mashed the pedal...nice little burnout even though its raining and nasty out. the v6 pulls very nice with some good 'oooomph' to it when you get on it. took it up to about 85... felt good, ride was nicer, more smooth with the polished 20s rims instead. the 21's are just overkill and dont even look good IMO..
since she hated the 21s too...and wanted the 20s..the 1st dealership said they would include a set of 20s with tires for free if she bought it... not a bad incentive considering you could sell the 21s with tires for probly around 6 grand..
