I wouldn't doubt everything works, the even better part is you could make a turn without having your hands on the steering wheel. 
It's a shame, those cars make kickass daily drivers.

Damn !! I work for Volvo ( 9years ) and I have never seen one like that . That car was probably hit . Then kind of fixed . If you can call it that .LOL I hope its not warranty

it looks like it was hit on that side by the color of the paint but also same on other side...its just wierd how people can sell **** like that and be like everything works and is very clean....but dont look at strut mount.
