You'd never believe what I paid for 20 pads. 4 calipers and 4 BRAND NEW rotors...

I wanted to go that route, but they wouldn't of fitted under my ZR1's, so I stuck with C5's. Speaking if which, my rebuild kit should be coming today

If anyone is interested I will now have a set of C5 Z06 front calipers pads and stoptech rotors forsale... Brand new units not rebuilt. and the pads and rotors have about 1200 miles on them... I would say 95% pad life left

Dood those V brakes are a hell of a caliper... What do you plan on putting them on? What size rotor do you plan on using? And what wheel and tire set up does it look like you will be going with?

4th gen. Gonna do C6 Z06 rotors like what you got. Supposedly the 4th gens are heavily rear biased, so these should even it out.

I can't wait to see your car when its done! It's gonna look sharp! You got big enough wheels to clear those? You need at least 18s.

Oh man! Try some test fits first. There are a few guys here with assorted wheels.

Or sell em to me! I bet my wheels clear!

Need 18's at least Im sure?
Yeah, Z55's are worlds better then the stock 10 inch rotor that came standard. I couldnt imagine going from 10 to 14 inch rotor!
Ill have to wait till I hit it big, then Ill snag a set of ZR1 brakes...ohhh baby! Gunna need Dubs for it to fit though.

On the rears, they were 18. Fronts were 17 though.

Dude go big or go home. Get new wheel studs while you are at it, some nice wheels, and spacers if necessary.

Looks like Im going to go with the nitto NT05's because they have the dragradial and non drag radial styles so I can run the stiffer tire up front for a little better cornering...
