need help asap with charging issue!!

Hey whats up i was wondering where does the thin brown wire on my alt. run down too? im having charging issues and i traced it to that wire but it goes to the back of the motor then dissappears and cant find it. i need to replace this wire since its not getting 12v to the alt voltage regulator thus not charging my battery. oh the car has the 3.8 motor and the alt only has the main red wire then a connector clip with just the thin brown wire.

Autozone site has wiring diagrams. You might have to register. Thin brn wire is trigger so it goes inside the car somewhere. Or maybe one of those power centers under the hood, I don't really know 4th gens too well. Check your fuses.

well come to find out it was the alt. the whole time and it ended up frying my battery aswell. So dont believe the test machines at advance or autozone cause they all told me the alt was working fine and there isnt anything wrong with it and dont buy reman. crap.
