1983 c10 short bed PROJECT 2wd in decent shape
Like the title states this is a PROJECT TRUCK it does start up this is what it is
its a 1983 c10 short bed 2wd as for the body it has some slight rust on the cab corners and rockers which is usual for these trucks but its not that bad. The drives door has some small dents in it the bed IS NOT all rusted out i actually dont see and rust on the bed. IT does how ever have a few dents behind the pass side tire on the bed. Its not all smashed in but does have a few dents can easly be fixed with a little bit of time. as for that i believe thats all thats wrong with the body. I got this truck as a roller. So far i have got a 1988 fire bird 305 with 120k on it I put a edlebork intake on it with a holley 600 cfm carb i have 2 carbs that you can choose from with the truck one is a holley 600 cfm and one is a edlebrok 600 cfm. I put a brand new serp belt on the motor brand new plugs and wires as well also put brand new battery cables a brand new starter has newer MR GASKET headers that in very good shape they are long tubes. I also have a brand new stock tq converter that i bought as well its a stock converter for a 88 firebird that is BRAND NEW....... The trans is a th 350 short shaft trans in good shape. I also have 2 new flowmaster 40 series muffles for the truck as well. Also has brand new motor mounts. As the truck sits right now it has the motor installed with the long tubes on it. I have not installed the trans yet or tq converter yet. This is a list of things that the truck currently needs to be finished.
Going to need a long bed drive shaft that will need to be cut down being its a short shaft trans a stock short bed driveshaft will be to long I DO NOT HAVE A DRIVE SHAFT FOR IT.
Going to need 2 new power steering lines they where cut on the motor that i got.
Needs an upper and lower rad hose i have a big block rad for it with an elec fan on it.
either carb that i have will need to be rebuilt they have been sitting around.
Needs the trans and tq converter installed.
I am sure that i am missing things that i have for the truck that i did not list and i am sure that the truck will need some things that i havent listed. this is good base solid truck for a project i wish i could finish it but where i have the truck at currently i can not keep it there anymore and dont have anywhere else i can keep it at till i get it finished so its going to have to go. NO i wont give the truck up for a few hundred bucks eithere so dont bother trying i have 2 back bumpers and a front bumper that will go with the truck as well they are in the bed.
I am going to try and get the tq converter and trans installed and do a little bit of body work on it as well but the more i finish on the truck the more the price is going to go up i am open to any reasonable cash offers.
