Sooo...Curious if my opinion is correct or not.
I've noticed that a member here does nothing but sell/post stuff for sale here.
Isn't this site for Fbody bs, tech questions, friendly banter, sharing with others our accomplishments and all around making fellow fbody friends???
I know its stupid and may be petty, but I looked and saw that the members last 100 posts were all for sale posts.
I think that if your gonna be a member than you should contribute to the forum in some way. This is not Craigslist for Fbodies...just saying.

We generally hold the same opinion. That's part of where the rule about being a member for 6 months or having 50 posts elsewhere before being allowed access to the Classifieds section comes from. Our hope is that users will take that time to become part of the community here and enjoy using our Classifieds as part of that community, but we can't win 'em all.

If he gives members the ease of private commerce and affordability/availability of parts.. I'd say he is helping members in a different way. You meet more people in the classifieds anyway.. always an interesting time. You can learn stuff from members directly in person.

I hear what your saying, and like I said, maybe im being petty about it. Just seems to me that only reason member is here, is to sell parts, and thats not what this forum is about. There's Craigslist, ebay, RacingJunk.com for that.
I guess why it bothers me is cause a bunch of members come to me for technical help and suggestions due to my knowledge, and yea....we all post stuff for sale, thats cool cause you can get parts you need and save a couple bucks. But Im on this forum to help others and to connect w/other fbody members. I've made a few good friends through this forum.
Point being is that the club should be used for its purpose, not for a online garage sale.

yeah... but there definetly is one that stands out from the rest.
If they gave the occasional "nice car" or "car looks like its comin along" or " nice times at the track last weekend" once in awhile, between their sale posts I wouldnt have even brought this up.

It really grinds my gears too. Should instate a bulk seller fee, that's a way they could give back to the club!

Same.
There are easily 4+ people who fit in this category, and they all post up a lot in spurts.

Having the "for sale" section is pretty handy in my opinion. Are there any instances where there's members getting shafted by these "bulk" sellers? Such as misrepresented items or price gouging? But you're right, it does seem a little wrong if you only use the board to make dollars. It's kinda like a woman using a man just for money

If she looks good and is all about the physical relationship versus "love" part, sounds like a good deal to me.
But to be honest, even if the guy does not post much, his for sale threads bring visitors to the site, and that means potential new members. So, can't really hate on the bulk seller guy(s) to much.
