While there are some exceptions, it would be a step in the right direction

Did not specify if the new car runs/drives, think you are still good.

Obviously you don't meet the standards that mods like stalkernick set forth, I mean you actually attend meets and what not.

While referred to as mine by the owner and used exclusively by me, it's not mine. It's still here, have no fear.

What if you put the LS1 and 6 speed into the jeep?

I no longer have said jeep. Plus that's a lot of work for something that would turn out not so awesome.

But you could have kept the mod status.

If you had a proper Jeep, a Wrangler, the word awesome wouldn't be a strong enough adjective.

But, I had a jeep once.

BDS 3.5" lift, TJ flares and some cutting, 33" tires, CV driveshaft, exploder 8.8 rear, 4.10 gears, disk brakes all around, upgraded steering box and pump... Hell, a lot of time and money.

I beat this thing mercilessly and it never broke. Sold it to make a down payment on an '06 Power Wagon, which turned out to be a giant pile of fail.

I miss my jeep, should never had sold it.
