squealing when turning from rear
I've noticed when making turns there is a squealing noise coming from the rear.
Seems to be coming from the brakes but not sure. The noise is getting worse.
Any experience or ideas?

Possibly backing plate?

I feel like guys have issues when the rear pads get low, something starts contacting on turns. Might be the rotor to the mount? I'd look for fresh shiny marks to see what is getting hit.

Sounds like the backing plate rubbing the rotor as suggested in the earlier post. Easy to check-easy to fix.

Assuming this is still lt1 style rear brakes, there is no dust shield/backing plate. The caliper doubles as the parking brake as well.

on my lt1 brakes, I had to shave a mm or two off the inside the of the caliper bracket, for some reason it was contacting the rotors on turns when the axles moved in and out. upon reading this was a semi common problem with lt1 brakes. sounds like it is your issue too.

Yeah, that's what I have read. Never experienced it but seems somewhat common.
