i know they changed the plugs...i think he may have messed further with the cot function since the last time he hit the track(at least thats what i told him to do) also informed him about the free two step techique using hptuners..not sure if he used that though either.

you should have taken some things out...such as hood prop, wipers, whatever removable pannels, shave your head, throw on just a t shirt and sweat pants, and get a good tail wind....13's would be no problem.

basically you push in the clutch rev it up till your hitting the limiter when the light goes green you dump the clutch and go wot...you can set the p/n limiter to whatever you want...as long as your going 0mph it will think your in N instead of 1st gear basically so you could set your launch 2step at say 4500rpms and launch at 4500rpms all night but then have your regular rev limiter at 6500 and not have to worry about bumping it.

i think a lot fo it was teh result of not running into a head wind like last time he was at etown.
teh only things that got changed on teh car were fresh plugs, the two step trick, and the cat over temp table was modded. car sees little to no knock through the entire pass.
later

Remove the cat and you can tune the engine for best power. The cat temp table is to ensure that you don't turn the cat's internals into molten lava. You can keep it cool 2 ways, either dump a bunch of fuel in that doesn't get burned and "put out" the cat or lean it out to stoich or higher and it'll take longer to overheat.
What are you doing tomorrow night? Give me a call and we can sit down and talk about the tuning thing in more detail.
