I work with morons!!
First of all, I work at a chrysler dealership, not my dream job, but hey, its a paycheck.
Anyway, I come back from lunch and there is a red convertible C5 vette parked outside. So I drool over that for a few minutes. then this guy walks through the shop and say "put that thing up against one of those 300 C's with the hemi in it." and he starts laughing. I start laughing too, bucause I know the vette would destroy the 300. Then this other guy says "oh it wouldn't even be close that hemi would walk all over him." These guys were serious! I told them the vette would beat the **** out of that dumb hemi and one of the guys says "no way man, that 300 with the hemi probably runs 10's." ARE YOU KIDDING!!! That thing probably weighs 5 thousand pounds. these ignorant f@&ks think the hemi is unstoppable when we all know that every gen 3 motor was hand built by god himself and therefore cannot lose ever. and another guy was so shocked that a hemi powered pick up ran a 16 something quarter mile. What the hell did you expect? Its a stock pick up! This job will be the death of me, I swear.

Both from Mustang drivers' sigs on AF (automotiveforums.com):
"no way man...i saw an LS1 fight godzilla and the LS1 beat godzilla and it looked in the air and was like what do you think of that god and god was like bring it bitch so they fought and the LS1 beat god now the LS1 is god because its the greatest thing ever."
-kittedb18b (i think thats his username lol)
"A Mustang cannot beat an LS1. Simply cannot happen. Please refer to this guide if you're a Mustang owner that thinks you may have beaten an LS1.
#1 The LS1 cannot be beaten.
#2 All Mustangs are stock.
#3 All LS1s run mid/high 12s bone stock from the factory.
#4 Even the 03 Cobra is a mid 13 car.
#5 The LS1 was not racing.
#6 The LS1 was parked.
#7 The LS1 was just playing with you.
#8 The LS1 was actually a V-6 with Z28 badges.
#9 The LS1 was actually an LT1, which can only be beaten by an LS1.
#10 The race does not count because it ended before 160mph.
#11 The race does not count because it did not start from a roll.
#12 The race does not count because the LS1's passenger was performing oral on the driver.
#13 The race does not count because the LS1 was not properly tuned.
#14 If you still feel your Mustang may have beaten an LS1, please see #1."

At least your Morons aren't the kind that are scheming of ways to make certain you end up destitute, and jobless . The ones you enountered, are just plain too brainless to do their research before opening their mouths .

The 300c SRT-8 has a 6.1L 425hp legit power plant. I find that rather impressive even if they are over 6 years behind GM and Ford in EVERYTHING.
Working with morons does suck but it happens everywhere. At least the people you talk to about cars can change their own oil!

the 300C can run high 13s, and a C5 LS1 will probly run around a 13.5 on a decent day. Dosnt seem like a bad race after ya look through the surface, but i doubt anyone in their right mind would say the hemi would possibly win

Yeah...the 300C is pretty fast for a big sedan, and the SRT8 is gunna be true muscle car. But put the 2 cars head to head in a drag race with people that know how to drive...the C5 would walk it pretty good.

Yeah, I doubt the ones I work with, and the clowns that pass as Management, even chnage their own underwear, let alone oil. I can't even mention the subject of cars around the dolts I work with, nor the so-called Managers, without getting looked at like I have 3 heads, and that two of them are spinning around in opposite directions. And these are the clowns that are trying to get rid of me!!!!
