so annoyed right now...rant...
ok so i'm on my way home from orange county NY tonight around 11:30 pm, and i remember something i forgot to do thrusday night...go to court in cliffside park. it was the 3rd time i missed so now a warrant was inevitable. so after a few minutes of me cursing blatantly, we make the rest of the drive home in complete silence. i get home , run inside, grab some money and go to my local PD to see if a warrant was issued today and then i'd pay it there too have it cleared up. well like i figured, there were not one but actually two issued for me, both totaling a few hundred bucks, which i have. My local PD suggests going to clifside park to pay it since it would get cleared up earlier than monday morning and id get a recipt to show that it was cleared up by C.P. so reluctantly, at 1 am i head to CP, i find the PD, go inside and talk to them, now they tell me in order for me to pay it now, theyd have to call a detective to come in, print me, take mug shots and all the paperwork. WTF!!!!!!! what happened to paying the dahm fine , getting a reciept, and going on my way, ive done it 3 times before. the cop suggest i come back monday, and go to the court clerk to pay and then itll be removed from the system. Now i have to lay low till monday morning liek the cop said. if i get pulled over and my name ran, i'm getting cuffed and stuffed, and shipped to CP in the back of a squad car. My camaro just asks to be pulled over so now i cant drive it all weekend and the gf will be driving her truck so we can finish xmas shopping. you have no idea how pissed i am right now. UGHHHHHHHHH ... **** **** god dahm.....

Its your own fault. Take a little responsibility. How can anyone forget about a court date. They should lock you up

paul was a little on the blatant side, but yeah missing a court date 3 times isn't something most people would do. consider yourself lucky you just have to lay low for a weekend, and you're not spending it in lockup.

its over a ticket for loud exhaust and failure to exhibit drivers liscense.... i have no problem paying it and i tried, what annoys me is that i have paid tickets in this type of situation before but now i cant. and when they give you a court date 4 months in the future its a little easy to forget.

my memory aint the greatest, but oh well. and bluebird, yes the console lid hinge is good, ive just been busy lately, i'll get more info about it to you this weekend. the court dates were always at 4:30 pm and i work till 5 and i live 25-35 min away from CP. so back in august i called to rescheduale a second time( i didnt forget other dates, i reschedualed, thats what i meant by missed), and they gave me dec 16th, since aug i fogot about it, a common mistake. we were tlaking about tickets last night and thats how i remembered. well ill just have to sell more parts to make back the money i have to pay. lol, eh it happens, it doesnt bother me now anymore, im calm, but last night i was just worked up and tired. My friend from he sheirffs dept. was laughing when i told him this morning when he picked me up to grab breakfast, he said its soemthign that only happens to me.

according to someone i work with, you need a permit to do any modification to your car, suppoisedly displayed under the hood. you need a REASON to have an aftermarket supercharger, or an aftermarket exhaust. is this one of those "its on the books but nobody enforces it unless they wanna be a dick" laws, or is he full of crap?

reason for a supercharger - to go faster, reason for exhaust - to go faster and be louder. good enough?

Dunno if it coutns overe there, but on some tickets, you can actually pay them online. Thats what I did a few times with parking tickets from where I worked.

I have never heard of such law. You dont need a permit to moddify your car. This isnt Cali, and there are no CARB restrictions on cars.
