Some of the people I went to Wyotech with did stuff like that. Two kids did that to late 80's S-10 pickups and another kid did a 70 Chevelle SS like that. The Chevelle was really impressive, the cage was chrome moly and it was fully TIG welded, really good work too. One of the kids who did an S-10 had to make new floors, a new trans tunnel and a new firewall because he was planning on putting a small block into it and he wanted to set it back a bit so it wouldn't interfere with his custom air ride front suspension. I love seeing stuff like that guys first gen. It's cool seeing step by step pictures showing how the whole project progressed.
