celica gt-s + gf in psngr seat = TEH SLOW!
I had to go out and pick up some last minute things for easter so i took my mom's trailblazer to run out 2 the grocery store...picked up the **** i needed and headed home via a 2 lane street with a traffic light every 3/4 mi or so. stop at a red light with a bright red celica gt-s next to me with his girlfriend in the passenger seat. I look over to see if she's cute, he looks at me. Then he taps her on the shoulder and points to me, laughs, and slams the car in 1st(manual). She laughs too and looks over. Light turns green and i take off easy to see if he wants some, judging by the chirped tires i figure he does so i floor it. he got about a 1/2 length on me on the launch and i slowly crept to even with him by the end of 1st gear, transmission shifted to 2nd and i got an immediate 1/2 length on him and kept pulling till around 2 lengths. Threw on the hazards and waved as he did the ricer fly-by, his g/f givin me "the look"
should i be impressed with the truck or no?

I'd just be impressed that you kill count in the Trailblazer is higher than in the T/A!

Trailblazers kick ass, my parents have had 2, I saw a stock one go 16 or 17 at the track. I can't wait for the Trailblazer SS, 0-60mph in 5.7sec
