Parts car: 96 Jetta in great shape minus a tranny
My neighbor's son has a 96 Jetta they just dropped $4k on rebuilding the engine and front end, including paint, new wheels and tries, etc... This is on top of the $3500 they paid for it initially last summer. The tranny just died and they are looking to unload the car. Everything is great but they aren't going to drop more money in it.
They are looking to sell it as either a "parts" car or as a car needing a tranny. She is only asking for $500.
PM me if interested. I don't have their number but will run over your contact info.
