He has no traction. Bad wheelhop if he punches it off the line. To get that time, he launches it real soft, and short-shifts the 1-2. He's not that interested in drag racing though, only been to the track a few times.

Nice ride There's just something about that car that I love. How do you like the paddle shifters? Does that gauge layout ever get confusing/annoying?

			It's ok Mike, post away.....
And Steve, no paddle shifters. I've driven his car a few times, and I like it. Comfy seats, pretty quick (even before the turbo), and I like the guage cluster's stacked look.

 | No paddle shifters? Was it an option then? I test drove a silver one that had them.

 | No paddle shifters? Was it an option then? I test drove a silver one that had them. | you're talkin about the E-shift, all the 01's are paddle shift, 02 and up had the manual 5spd option.

i got a rare 04 colour and option mix, Indigo Ink Pearl, 5spd w/LSD

i've driven the E-shift cars and they are governed by the comp too much, so i opted for the traditional 5spd,... v161 coming soon though!! along with headgasket and TT internals, giving me more boost and more POWER!!!

i think they use the same motor as the non turbo supra.......so tt internals would mean internals for a tt supra, that and the headgasket would let him raise the boost.
dunno about the other thing though.

 | yup yup,...

both the IS and the NA supra have identical 2JZ-GE inline six6, DOHC engines. minus the VVT-i, which didnt come later for the supra. all i need is the GTE head, TT internals, getrag v161 six speed swap, and probably a new rear and i'm on my way! = a lot o ***** money
it takes so much more money to get my car into the 10's than it does an f-body
