Bah, that's nothin, I hit 70k 30 months after I bought the car. At your rate it'll take 35 months to hit 70k. And I bought mine with 28 miles.

I thought I drove too much. I picked up my Maxx in July, and I just rounded 13.7k.

the car has already been used for a few long trips. so it is sort of exagerated. we took it to daytona for the rolex24, i have driven to pittsburgh, baltimore, and the poconos with it.
i am sure as teh summer wears on there will be a few more trips to rack up the miles

sorry nothing beats that stripped white ls1 powered Z28 tim and I looked at over in hamilton a couple of years ago...it was a 2000 if i remember correctly so 2-3 years old tops & had over 100k on it lol...i averaged it out that in the time it was driven it had to avg over 100 miles per day even on weekends to get to that mileage.

That's a lot of driving. How many miles is it to and from work? I know that isn't the only driving you do (obviously) but 10k is a LOT.

That's insane but not unbelievable. I know a guy that has that beat. He drives to work 80 miles each way! He managed to pack on almost 50k miles in a year. I told him he was insane for living so far away and we calculated he spent around $4000 in gas. I had him seriously contemplating having a tank installed at his house, lol.

i live about 12miles from work. what adds up the mileage is the drives to up near frenchtown to help randy with teh race car a few nights a week, driving to new egypt once a week, driving back and forth to car shows and car club meetings at least once a week.
good thing i easily get 30+ mpg, even doing city driving.

My wife is the opposite. We picked up her Liberty in September of 2002, and it only has 14,800 miles on it. Â*

since this is teh first new car i have ever owned i have been thinking about keeping it a while. my dad had a buick that went 470K and still ran when we got rid of it. it would be nice to get that kind of life span out of this car.
i am going to save up the money to buy the loan out early i think. i don't like the idea of making payments on a car once it is out of warranty
