				Higher Insurance?

Has anyone looked at their new insurance bill recently? I just got my tri-monthly bill and my insurance went up $200 for no reason! What a bunch of heebs running this state. I cant wait to get the hell out of here FAST!
I was down to paying $2,600 a year, and now its up to $2,800 because the state decided they want more money. Ive been doing good driving for the past 2 years, I expected it to keep comming down after my 20th birthday but now its back on the rise.

Hmm…a 20 year-old male with a hopped up car with high insurance costs? Statistically, you are trouble. And that is all insurance rate setting is, statistical analysis. Did you call the insurance company to see why it went up? You could also try shopping around for cheaper coverage.

You live in the most densely populated state in the nation. Plus people drive like schmucks. And the state government can’t stay the F out of the issue, just making it worse on the insurance companies. And most people in NJ feel car insurance fraud is acceptable. All that adds up to high insurance costs.

There is hope. I pay less than that for full coverage on two new cars, liability on a truck, and haggerty’s on the 77. All with higher liability that that ridiculous 15/30 state minimum (come on, if you total someone else’s car, what are the chances $15k covers it?). You just have to get older and continue to stave off the tickets (I highly recommend the Valentine One radar detector if you must speed). Or move to another state.

my insurance right now for full coverage on the camaro is 1100 a year, and the rodeo was 450 a year for liability when i had it. BUT... i am not a driver on my insurance, it is only in my parents and my sister's name. this weekend i have to go add myself cause of the new truck. its just not believable anymore, 6 cars for 3 people? i have 3 points on my liscence so i expect my insurance rates to go through the roof.

If not, and you get in an accident, the ins co can refuse the claim, if they want to.

im paid up till sep 8th...so i didnt notice anything, and insurance rates usually only drop at the age of 25 and depending on your credit rating.
i pay 1200 for full coverage(collision, comp, liability) on the Denali and 340 for each additional car with basic liability and thats for a full year under my own name.

 | I know I'm not 25 yet, but IT did start to decrease after my 19th birthday, thats one of the only reasons I upgraded to the 95'. I was just wishfull thinking. I just turned 20 in October, and it went up because the state is adding new surcharges, or at least thats what my theif of an insruance person said.

My friends don't call me Hank Hill for driving fast...

I wish I could shop for lower insurance. Ive done it with Geico, and they wanted about $400 more, if my entire family switched over.

Right now its just
Mom - 2001 Passat
Dad - 2004 Acura TSX
Sisters car, under my moms name - 2001 Jetta
My car, is registered under my name, insured under my moms (Im the primary driver)

My dad is the one with the most total points out of the family, thats why the Plan is under my moms name. I had 2 points on my lisence 3 years ago, and they have already disapeared since I took the proper actions.

Im just ranting because I don't like it.

since the current governor is headed out of office, there will be a lot of last minute changes as he scurries along trying to pay off those that supported him. it's all about money - how much you'll pay before you get pissed enough to do something about it.

Yeah, it's not going to drop until your 25. You can wait or do what I did and decide to go the collector route. Depending on whether you have another car to use as a daily driver, some collector ins companies consider 4th gens "exotic," like Ferrari's, Vipers, etc. I pay only $500...not a month, a year! But again, you need to have another car that's insured with a different company to do it. Only downside is you can't drive it as often.

I just turned 24, and my insurance has been going down drastically... no points ever, no accidents in the past 5 years, I pay $106 a month for liability on my 92 Chevy K1500 and my 92 T/A 'Vert. Not too bad if you ask me... just keep your record clean and accident free and it will go down. Also remember insurance companies go by credit too, so if you have bad credit it will affect your premium too... friggin bull **** if you ask me.
