ive heard that the alienware computers and as great as theyre hyped up to be, the pretty good but your paying for the looks of it. if you want great performance at a reasonable price customize a Dell XPS, thats what my has, then again he payed 4 grand for it

well the girl i've been wanting for about a year now called me yesterday and told me she's done with finals and wants to go out this weekend.  too bad i'm gonna be down at school and i have to cancel but hey, merry christmas to me!

Alienware builds good stuff, but part of the price is the name, of course. Dell's XPS systems are nice, but they only use intel chips, which consistantly get their doors blown off in gaming performance by AMD.
Build your own...it's cheaper and you'll be happier with the results.

very true, you can make a good computer if you have the money i built my own and it has decent parts cuz i built it like 2 years ago....

i'll either pick up a system at one of the shows or put the list together and build one this year. i can't survive anymore with my K2-650. more storage would be nice, too...
as for christmas, i can only wish for one thing that has no chance in hell of happening, so there is no sense in wishing for it. outside of that, i have everything i need or will work it out shortly.
