I once went to flush the heater core when i first got the 96. I let out pressure in the radiator by slowly cracking the cap and all. Pull the hose off the water pump that goes to the core, and i guess that still had pressure. Well, the "warm" dexcool shot straight into my eye. THat hurt like hell.

I did a big oops last saturday with the bike though. I was pushing it backwards with my legs and slipped a little and caught the pipes with my leg. In the fraction of a second that they were in contact with the pipes, my leg has two large red spots on it still. Solarcane gell has been my best friend on that. Since then, I'm not gonna be wearing shorts when on the bike......

years ago my family took a trip down to skyline drive in VA and i think the car overheated or something and my dad opened the radiator or something and his chest got soaked with boiling hot coolant. he got burnt so bad his skin was literally falling off it was all bubbled up, it was sooo bad. i think he had like 3rd degree burns

my dad's friend's car overheated, he pulled over, popped the hood..not thinking, he took the cap off the radiator and out came a stream of boiling coolant into the air. He started to run directly away from it, rather than to the side like a normal person would do and after a few yards he got nailed in the back

Awww, poor guy, that looks like it kills. If it makes you feel any better, when I was little kid, about 5 i guess, I was about to take a bath and the radiator was on full blast in the bathroom, middle of winter, and I backed right into it. Temporarily branded the engraved radiator brand name "Campbell" backwards right on my lower back. Needless to say I ran out of the bathroom screaming for mommy. Hahahaha

Join the "I Burned Myself on a Radiator" club My house was built in the very early 1900's and the radiators in each room are HUGE. Its not a pretty site.

deadtrend ... Thatll buff right out. At least when you werent 8 years old, you didnt attempt to fix a broken chain on a bicycle while in motion. The outcome was a 1/4 inch of fingertip sliced off. Wasn't me tho, it was my brother lmao

hahaha i know, i'd probably considerate a battle scar and admire it as a character-building flaw if it was. had it not happened when i was so young, i probably wouldn't have grown out of the scar, and i'd still have it.

one of my friends was in my car and he took the cigg lighter out and did that. and all he could say afterwards was how dumb he was for doing that. his thumb was white where he touched it.

Just got to look at it as **** happens. YESTERDAY! i went to my girlfriends house to help hack up a tree with a chainsaw. She decided she was going to mow the lawn, come to find out she changed the spark plug, and after about 15-25 minutes of mowing it died... i was in the midst of chopping up this tree when she called me over, so i just wanted to get it running and go back to my job. Come to find out the spark plug fell out... but was still held on by the rubber gromet, and what did i do? I went "oh babe your spark plug fell out, let me get that for you..." now i have huge blisters on my thumb, pointer, and middle finger... But i could not cry..... the girl was there... you know... **** HAPPENS
