me and my neighbor used to play UT constantly, he had/has an asslod of mods for it and hes really good. we stopped playing when i went to college  we play on and off again, but he cant play 2004 cuz he pcs are old. i agree that the original is more fun for net play but i think 2004 is way better for solo play cuz theres so many more things you can do.

The new UT2007 is based on the Doom engine  They obviously had to alter it for multiplayer, but its gonna be crazzzzy. I still like 2004 a hellova lot better. Nothing like getting 6 Holy ****'s in a row  Instagib FTW
I lost my UT1 cds, so im SOL on that one

 i still have yet to beat doom3 i stopped playing it for awhile cuz the only way i could was when i was home cuz i had to play it on my dads XPS which could run everything at High/Highest  same thing with 2004, i had the settings up so much that the announcer would say "Holy ****!"

yea im just gettin back into 2004 (my old geforce fx 5200 couldnt handle it ) and i must say i love it. as for the cds i can send them to you/seed them on bit torrent or if you come to the south meet i burn you a copy

What system did you have that card in that it couldn't play UT 2004? I had a pIII 700 OCed to 814 with 512 MB PC133 and a GeF 4 TI 4200, and I could play it pretty well.
