Had to report an accident tonight

So it's 1:00 am and I'm driving back to work on range road just past the stop sign about a mile heading towards cookstown when I spot something reflecting the street light that isn't normally there. I get closer and the WTF moment of the night hit me. It was a dark colored 4 door car, possibly a taurus, smashed into a tree. All the lights were off and the hood was smashed sticking up passed the roof of the car. I grab my cell phone but since i don't get service on this little stretch of road I hauled ass to the police dept. about 1.5 miles up the road and called it in. It must have just happend on my lunch break because it definitely wasn't there on my way home.

My guess is they either fell asleep or were drunk. The roads were dry. I didn't see and skid marks.

coming across stuff like that makes me glad i switched back from nextel to verizon...
during a trip south, i drove by a tractor trailor that had just rolled once... it had happened so recently, you could see the trailor's wheels still spinning. i saw the driver was out, so i didnt bother stopping or calling, cause there was enough traffic that i knew everybody would be calling, and the guy wasnt hurt

That happened to me twice. One time I was leaving the base at like 2am heading down Range Road and some dude was drunk and slammed into a tree at a high rate of speed and died. I rolled up just as the DoD cops were. Another time Iwas heading in at like 7am and some older guy had a heart attack and his car somehow ended up in a tree like 3 feet off the ground.

 | I was cruising by at like 50 mph when I noticed. I didn't see anyone in the car, but it was dark and all the lights were off. The only thing I could do was haul ass to the police station since my cell didn't get service on that road. I don't know the outcome.

Yeah no cell service can be had on that road even Verizon gets nothing. On my farm nothing except nextel gets service...dunno what the deal is, but its just how it is. Back on topic I hope it all turned out okay at that scene.
