Hey guys i am going to college for the next 4-6 years studying film production and video editing. I think it would be a great jump for this site if we were to put together a video, not just any video, a great video. I know a lot of people who are into video production and i think they would definetly help out. This probably wouldn't be happening for awhile but it's something to think about at the meets. I know Alex is into photography and he is great at it. Alex i enjoy your work. We could incorporate photos into the video as well as members signatures when they appear on the video. So if you guys have a video camera and camera start taking some pics and film at the meets. Thanks!

Tim and I have had something in the works for a promo video for a while.. The two problems are a) finding the hours on end that it takes to do it, and b) cooperation from club members. A lot of video people take is of illegal street racing and we cant have that.

then why not get some autocross and atco videos when anyone is able to, i should be up and running shortly, I'm gonna be using a temp short block n/a with stock injectors just so i can enjoy the car for the summer...

1.) put a disclaimer in the beginning saying how we do not condone street racing.

2.) alot of people want to see a variety of racing, not just 1/4 mile tracks and auto x

I would be one of those people.

3.) its only illegal if you get caught

and i have a sh!tload of racing videos on streetfire.net, dunno if theres a way to save them tho. most of my footage gets uploaded on that site and then deleted from my pc to make room

im with 98tadriver on that... it would need to be everything... not just 1/4 mile and autox... the best elements for a film are action and drama... and no other way to capture that unless its money waving in the air and police lights in the background....as well as wheelies down the highway in street cars like dre's

i got a ton of videos on my computer, on my 8mm camcorder tapes, digital camera with no sound, and digital with sound.... lemme know if you need any for editing or whatnot...

those kind of videos are not what the club can permit to be seen or use to land sponsors. the video im talking about is a promotional video for our club, and companies who are giving us money are not gonna want to see kids with cops behind them.

street fire videos would not work as footage. the quality is nowhere near good enough. when i edit videos i use the raw footage off the tape and compress later if need be, that way its the best quality it can be.

thats ok, i'm sure that i will be making some new kill videos this summer. anyone else who might be interested in making a video with the kind of footage that we all adore, pm me. i have windows movie maker, im not taking classes in college on this but im getting pretty good at editing.

my buddy has a 2500$ digi vid cam, a professional one, i can see if he wants to take some vids aorund here and maybe meets and stuff. that camera records in just amazing quality. ill see what he wants to do maybe get some footage to you.

lets make some vids once i get my car workin. lol

Ok another thing I, or we, might have to do is put a subtitle saying all these races were performed in a closed course, even though it wont be true, it will save our asses. As for the Footage, whatever u have i would love to take it and begin working on a short montage, kinda like a trailer for a movie. Only problem is the best footage is captured straight from the camera, so the quality might not be too good.

98tadriver im down for some video.... and i also got tons of edited stuff we can use.... we can name it "the njfbo uncensored private video".... we dont want the nazi regime on this board NOT making their million dollers a year for hindering their sponsor deals.... or percentage of sales on classifieds..... next we will have pepsi cola side banners on the pages ... yayyyyyyy.....

I'm def down for this i know on Friday night 4 camaros(me included) took a cruise over to camden to get some pix under the bridge and w/ the city in the background, and i must say it was prob the most fun I've EVER had in my car .. I would LOVE to do this and i know my friend Justin is on this site and took some amazing still pics if anyone want some of them .. great angles all as well

What happened to the tape I gave Tim? I know my bnuddy is pretty shakingt with the camera but it was from the nats.
