			Do you like it?
Me, personally, I hate it. I hated it even more when rascal flatts totally f***** up hotel california on stage at the Grammy's. Way to ruin a good song.

if you can bear to watch it, fine. but i say pause it, allow it to load fully. then fast forward to 4:23 and watch them f' up the solo. it's a disgrace. they should stick to their own kind of music.

Now, real country, yeah, that's ok. like old country singing classics. mostly dead guys. hahaaha.

I do, but only certain styles.
I hate bubblegum pop country. Rascal Flatts can die in a fire. And I don't like old school twangy cry in my beer 50's country. Some of the new non-poppy stuff is decent.

For the most part I like outlaw country, like Johnny Cash, Hank Jr., Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, etc...

As far as f'ing up a song, most covers suck, and when there is a cross-genre cover it's usually terrible. Have you seen my post about Celine Dion and AC/DC? Or did you see the abortion that was N'Sync and Britney Spears singing Walk This Way at the super bowl a few years back? Simply horrible.

I like big and rich but as far as I'm concerned most music in the last 17 years is cr@p except a few bands. as far as country I like CDB and thats about it. Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd are the best southern bands but thats southern rock

The Allman Brothers & The Rolling Stones are about as country as I get. I don't even like the Eagles.

I like outlaw country, that's good stuff. What music you listen to doesn't necessarily make your standpoint on US policies, histories and traditions. It simply states a type of music I just don't happen to dig.

And even still, the first American music still had very touchy topics in the lyrics. They were just concealed better.

Charlie Daniels Band is by far my favorite...but then I'll turn it up a little louder and listen to Disturbed, Megadeth(only metal band to have balls and not loose them), Metallica(lost them, trying to find them), Dream Evil, Dio, Van Halen, Motle Crue. just cause you listen to a certain type of music mean nothing of how you feel about this country.

I love both kinds: Country AND western! Seriously, huge fan of most country, from the "'50s twangy cry in your beer" era through a lot of today's country. Can't stand Shania Twain and others like her who have to do the crossover pop thing, but love everything else. Also play in a country band and write some of my own stuff.
