Todays my lucky day!
Woke up thinking it would be another usual unemployed Friday only to get 2 phone calls while sitting in class!
The other day I responded to a help wanted I saw online for a Youth Sports Photographer seeking weekend help, and I walked into a Wine/Liquor store in Ridgewood.
Today I got phone calls from both and took both jobs! I even started working @ the Liquor store today. It was pretty good. Nice people working there, flexible hours and decent pay. I got in at a good time too, they are opening a new larger store just down the block where I will get a pay raise after a few weeks.
The other job is for a one man company called Picture That & Video. The guy runs a booth at youth sporting events throughout the year and does pictures & prints on the spot. The weekend of the 6-8th I'll be working the booth doing printing for him as a table tech. Then in December I'll be Photographing the Junior Olympics with him! The plus to this job is the experience as well as the extras to add to my building portfolio. He also pays cash 8)
Anyway just thought I'd share! Now all I need to complete this week is my car & a woman!

Nice! I can't even imagine what a job search is like since I've been with my company for 18+ years now.

Thanks everyone! The jobs just mean I can finish up the appearance of the Camaro as soon as I get it back!
The liquor store is a 15% discount! We have a huge wine selection because thats the big seller in my area but the beer selection is also pretty ridiculous!
I was helping this weekend set up the new store which is amazingly beautiful and rather large.
