well anyways i think ch. 5 blew it a little out of proportion. i heard from my mom & then the news that a student was threatening suicide and killing a bunch of other people first, parents were on saying they were receiving text messages from their kids saying there were machine guns at school and whatnot. now on nj.com it sounds a lot less serious. oh well, scary either way. when i was there we had a few bomb threats but nothing really wild

my sister is a senior there ...she said there was a cop from every town in essex, national security, and some had machine guns(don't know if she knows the difference between that and a shotgun) but pretty crazy none the less.

I went there too

It was pretty crazy when I was there. Lots of bomb threats, someone blew up the bathroom twice, and all sorts of pranks. I miss those days lol

What ever happened to "meet me in the parking lot after school so we can settle this"?

I must be from the last generation that settled things that way. The worst threat my high school had in south florida was a hurricane. :P

Nah, when i had a problem with some body, they got knocked out, either it was right in the hallway or in the locker room.

Thats what we did in High School. Right after I left they had bomb threats and stuff. I remember at the end of my senior year this kid who was on the 6 yeah high school plan (and was a Junior still) actually did get caught with a gun at school (in his car), needless to say they escorted him out and he never came back.

very interesting. It amazes me that as a student mkahpfh years ago there were bullies and fights and upper class and lower class and we never had to resort to killing other students or making threats. Yeah we had a few bomb threats called in but nothing ever happened it was just a way for the trouble kids to get out of class and be pains in the butt.

Kids these day get called a name or there books knocked out of their hands and they plot to kill who did it. They need to get some thicker skin. We are breeding a new wimpier society who is going to get eaten up in the corporate world and then when they take over with their sissy no backbone selves this country will really go in the crapper.

I think my class was the end of it all, i remember my freshman year there was a huge fight after school and at least one kid was covered in someone's blood. no weapons involved...

I don't wanna nothin from any of you. My high school, my freshmamn year the principal was fired for fondling bewbs at school, my junior year the school resource officer(an active policeman assigned to a school) was indicted on charges of statutory rape, he boned a 17 year old in the school office. the same year a teacher was fired and charged with child pornography.
