What's good people. '87 Trans Am with the WS6 package. 305 TPI . This is my first domestic car, so it's interesting to drive something different for a change. Got this as a DD while I work on my other cars, so I don't plan on doing too much to it other than some basic bolt ons and maybe an ECU tune (...and maybe a cam ).

Right now, I'm looking for a 10 bolt rear if anyone has one. Grinding is killing me

Working mainly on an AE86 and FC3S, but I'm about to close a deal on something I've been chasing for a while; 240Z. That one will be very special if I can land it. The others are all long term builds. I still want a nice daily (though I'm not looking forward to $4.50/gallon summer prices ) so I'll be touching up more than a few things on my TA.

Subframe connectors, SLP runners/intake, and probably and ECU tune for the short run. Mainly trying to make sure it doesn't rust away, and keeping it running at 100%. I've got to change my rear, posi is shot. Might also have to change the heater core, as I think it's leaking antifreeze from there into the pass. side of the interior. Not looking forward to that if that's really the issue Other than that, it's all little things. Want a new/different t tops bag (torn), redo the weatherstripping maybe, eventually change my head unit/speakers, since both are on their way out it seems. Also, I was looking for a carbon fiber stock hood, but it seems like no one really makes them for 3rd gens. It'd be nice to be able to offset the weight of the t-tops, and help distribute the weight a little better since it's so nose heavy. LS1 swap would definitely help with that , but that's a long term decision.

edit: Oh, I'm from Clifton, but I dorm at NJIT during the semester. What about you people?

I have a few really crappy shots for now. Maybe I'll take a few when I get around to washing it the one day this week it's not raining:

I was trying out the T-Tops this day. Haven't had it long enough to enjoy it in good weather. In retrospect, I wish I had a hardtop. Oh well:

And I want to invest in a tripod for shots at night so this doesn't happen:

The buckseats are out and will be for sale in a bit. I've got stock seats in now and will probably be looking for GTA seats when I have the cash to spare. I'm looking for a different hood as well, though I'm not sure exactly what yet. The hood is 100% useless, aside from maybe physically cooling the engine. Someone with a TBI setup would love it. Carbon Fiber stock hood anyone?

That's pretty much it. Need to clean it, touch up the body a bit, and go on a photoshoot/cruise. Do we have any local meets up here?
