e-brake problem

ok so i pulled the ebrake up and about half way up it just looses all resistance agaisnt it and now goes up and down and doesn't set the brak any one got any ideas i won't be able to get under it till later tonight or this weekend at the latest.

jsut noticed I may have posted this in the wrong sections get it moved to general tech if need be.

most likly u got the same problem i do . check the cable that goes to the caliper it might be bent . u said it has tention . best bet get new cables

has no tention as in I left it up with my fringer it locks in place i push the button it falls down on it's own.
yeah i'll get to it tonight currently at work lol.

does it feel like the brakes are dragging? cause the caliper could be stuck, i had that happen to me
