				What is your aveage MPG

Posted on NE3G so I figure I would ask everyone here. With the rising fuel costs is just doesn't seem like it would pay to get rid of my Saturn.
For me, rough average on them would be:

Saturn: 32mpg mixed
Silverado (4.8 Vortec): 16mpg-18mpg
LS1: 20mph-21mph
LT1: Odometer doesnt work so I don't know
L98: Horrible since the tq converter wasn't locking up when it was on the road.
Bike (1632cc Victory): 42mpg-44mpg

Is it bad when I use the RPO code for the motor to describe what Trans AM I'm talking about.

jeep - between 16-20 depending on how much highwayls1 - 19-20 around town, significantly higher all highway
 79 - 10-12.. therefore, it sits.

I can't justify buying a new car that gets higher mpg though when it will cost say $12k for a nice used car, how long will it take for me to spend $12k EXTRA in gas for it to make up for itself? A very long time.

My Trans Am gets about 23mpg on average, mixed city and highway. Wonder if the headers/exhaust work helped with that.

Elantra - 28 - 32mpg, depending on how much traffic I have to sit in to get to class and whether I do 70 or 80 on the highway. Mostly highway driving, very little stop and go. And that's with 3 exhaust leaks and a cracked manifold.

My Jeep (4.0L I6, A4, 31s, 4.10s) averages 16-17 as long as I drive it sanely. If I drive like my old crazy self then it gets 13-14. That's mostly highway (~18 mile commute to work).
My wife's '04 Grand Cherokee (4.7L v8, A5, 29s, 3.73s) averages 14.5 (according to the on board computer). She has a similar commute, but hers is during rush hour (she works 8am-4pm, I work 4pm-12am).

 | my saturn has the same drivetrain and i get between 18-24 depending on how i drive and the driving style. 18 being alot of city with a lead foot. 21 being mixed and 24 being all highway. usually 20-21

camaro got about 16-22 pre-cam. usually about 17-18 cause its much harder to keep my foot off the go pedal on that car. now i can only assume its much less
