That is what I was thinking of. A reasonable starting point, or 2 that would be fair to everyone. I guess that would be somewere In central jersey. We also need to find a date that would be free of any event. And I guess a rain date also just incase..

why not try to have it an organized event like the time the troopers shut down the turnpike or the parkway for a stretch for the corvette owners cruise. i know a few high ranking people in the west trenton barracks that might be able to grease these wheels

I know its tempting for the cops, but what can they do if you obey the rules and stay in the right lane.. Nothing right? Remember its a only a cruise, where not out there to temp each other or others.. If we stick to that will be just fine.

would anyone be interested in turning this into a charity style event? i spoke with a friend with the State Police and said it sounds like an awesome idea but the only way your gonna get the NJSP involved is if there is a charity aspect.
is anyone interested in throwing some money in to donate to have a section of the parkway shut down for our specific cruise use.
heres footage to a similar event featuring vettes in NJ

I might be down, as driver or passenger. Depending on starting location and when it is.

well we'd need a bit more people to get interested in this. in the cruise some were driving at speeds of excess of 170 mph and there was 0 accidents. some stuck to the slower speeds cruising down and enjoying the ride, its all in the style you want to drive...but it deffinately seems something worthwhile to look into. id be willing to donate a c-note to rip ass down the parkway with the police ok

Im down for a cruise. The parkway seems the most reasonable for gathering everyone. Estimate times for pulling into rest stops so everyone can group up

The event video that's posted above is FC Kerbeck's Toys for Tots run. There were a few hundred Corvettes participating I believe, but I don't know too many details about it.

Anyone have an idea of how much they raised? i mean to shut down part of the parkway it must have "cost" a good amount $$$
