LT1 tall valve covers
Im looking for a place who sells LT1 Tall Valve Covers, which have the dent in the passenger front side of the cover for the alternator clearance. I recently bought the jegs tall valve covers n tried denting them in and ended up cracking it. So if any1 has any information on a pair, please let me know.

Um what for?
Just slice out the stockers or aftermarket ones... unless your running like a 7.5 PR I doubt you need tall covers...

I actually never modified my stockers and don't have any issues with my 1.6 rockers.
But, if you feel like spending money...

WOW, 200 for shiny tall valvecovers... and don't they have sealing issues too I think?
It depends on what kind of rockers you are using. When I had the magnums in, they cleared no problem. Now with the pro mags, I had to clearance the covers.

The best clearing center bolt valve covers you wil find are the cheap, fabbed ones that they sell at all the swap meets. They are the same for the centerbolt Gen1 sbc's as for the LT1, so don't spend a bunch of extra money just because they say they are for lt1

They need to clear the alternator so I would hesitant to pick up a set of fabbed up covers...

Not entirely true, the LT1 passenger side is notched to clear the alt.

And again, its a hotcam with 1.6 rockers, just modify the stockers. Not that hard.
