None of them are "good" whiskeys- they are just a little above the plastic bottle brands. Jack is expensive because of the name. Typically it's Johnnie Red. I don't know too many people that order a glass of any of them served neat. They are OK if you do that, but you don't really enjoy them too much.

Yeah, they aren't great but they sure aren't terrible. The worst I ever had was that stuff that comes in the mayonaisse jar with the paper bag label. Absolutely vile. Tasted like rotten corn.

bunch of alkies!!!! i cant mix alcohol with another alcohol. i turn mean, violent and pretty much downright psycho when i do it has to be a nuetral drink and something alcoholic.
grey goose and cranberry is my drink of choice if they dont have the goose i just get a capt and diet coke or a 7 and 7...half these ''shots'' sound more like a ''cannon blast'' to me.

You know, I never could understand why people mix goose and belvy with anything. Both are so smooth you can drink them neat, and it seems like a waste if you put juice or something in there. Why not use lesser quality stuff since you will taste juice or soda anyway?

For mixing I always use Svedka. Cheap per unit volume and rated pretty high in Vodka ratings.

Yea Svedka is really not bad at all. Three olives is not bad either if your looking for other cheapish quality vodka.

cause i like my vodka ice cold and usually do a double shot of vodka, half glass of ice and a splash of cranberry for the flavor.
btw Grey Goose L'Orange....tastes sexy with some cranberry
edit: i mix my drinks because i need a vessel for the alcohol to be delivered, if not i get super drunk off like 1 shot. the cranberry makes the drink last longer. not to mention i just cant stand the taste of any alcohol which is why i dillute it down

I keep smirnoff triple distilled in the freezer at home for mixing, also keep some ketel on hand for the occasional double ketel, splash of cran or other vodka heavy mixer.
