Not so much the active rain more than Duke Island Park's elevation. Back when I lived in Raritan it used to get flooded from the river to the road, and would take days to soak in.
Attached is a parking lot in Flemington on Saturday...

Meh, the canal and river were overflowed on Sunday from the rain, screwed up my drive to work. I still say we should have gone,

So what has to happen to schedule a new date? Apply for a new permit and hope no one has taken the spot already? Gotta make sure I get it on the family schedule before "something" else is scheduled
