				2018 Ram 1500

My jeep has been getting tired so the past few weeks ive been looking at some used cars and trucks to replace it. Last Saturday i took a ride to my local dealer to check out a used 2015 CPO Ram 1500 express. Before i even got a chance to go in to talk to anyone, a stroll threw the back lot bought me to a white 2018 express quad cab.
Some back and forthing and few hours later, that 2018 Ram was going prepped for delivery in the car wash.
I got an excellent deal on the truck. Between being a former employee of the dealer, my brothers best friends father being a partner there, AND FCA trying to push out the last year of this body ram, i ended up getting almost 14k off the sticker price. Truck will go back to dealer when plates come in for bedliner and hitch install.

No mods YET, but thats just bc nothing has arrived yet
On order currently:

-Being tinted weds
- LEDs for fogs, license plate plates, bed lights, reverse lights, interior lighting
-Black Ram emblems for front + rear
-Black 4x4 (may end up not putting on, goign to see how i like it clean first)

			Nice truck!
If you can, cancel the black emblems. Plasti-dip those suckers! I did on my truck and they looked just like the day I did them when I traded it in a few years later.

Since I like a clean look, I negged the side emblems. The ones I left behind I hit with plasti-dip. If you don't want to go full blacked-out, you could always try something different, like gunmetal and top them with gloss or metalizer.

Also: Get you some rust proofing, like fluid film, and hit the rear quarters with it, up in the bedsides. Had I known better, I would have when I got my truck. I traded it in because I started getting rust in the rear wheel lips and when I stuck a camera into the bedsides it was pretty fugly in there.

 | Ive been reading about doing that on ram forums. Thought of you immediatly lol Thats why you ended up getting the Colorado right?

Also, do you happen to have those headlights you swapped out? I want to switch my to either the black bezel units, or find a set of stocks to mod.

 | Yes sir, that was the demise of my relationship with my Ram. It was also one of the first things I did with the Colorado to prevent it in the future, I sprayed 4-5 cans of Boeshield all over the bottom of the truck and up inside anywhere I could reach until it was dripping .

Actually, I do have the stock lights up in my attic. They're yours if you want 'em. Should be in more or less new condition.

On the exhaust: Save your monies and get one of the the mufflex mufflers as there is no power to be had by replacing the cat-back. The factory stuff is mandrel bent stainless steel, so if sound is your game then just swap mufflers. It's a quick bolt on.
