Anyone Going To be Near Edison NJ Applebees?

Anyone from this group going to be near the Edison NJ Applebees* on Friday, November 19th? I plan on stopping in there between 12:00 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. If the weather cooperates, I'll bring my 76 T/A out.
If it rains, then look for a pale yellow 1982 Flord Fairmont Futura
*located on Rt 1 South, near Rt 287 and the now defunct Ford Plant

Nothing special planned, just want to get out, relax, and drive my T/A if the weather will cooperate. Hey, a little R & R every now and then ain't a bad thing.
So, one way, or another, I'll be stopping by the Edison NJ Applebees on November 19th

My time is somewhat flexible on that day, so if later is better for any number of people, then I can delay my arrival until 2:30, or 3:00 P.M., just if there's a consenus on a good time, let me know. I'd say anything later than 3:30 P.M., wouldn't be good.Quote:

Friday's weather is predicted to be sunny and clear so far, so, if ANYONE is going to be near the Edison Applebees on Friday, November 19th, you'll be seeing my 'Carousel Red' 76 Trans Am parked nearby.
Like I said, my arrival time is flexible, so if 2:30 P.M. is better for everyone, then that's fine by me

j0n, it's 287 south to exit 1B (i think it's 1B...whichever of the #1 exit's come first), for Rt 1 South...then make a right at the next light off of rt 1, you'll see it once you get off the ramp.
Give me a call, maybe I'll shoot down for lunch that day too. My clutch is getting put on tomorrow

The Edison Applebees is right on Route 1 South, about 1/4 mile south of the Rt 287 Interchange with Route 1. If you're coming from North Brunswick, or further south, on Rt 1 North, then you'd have to go through the 'Prince St'. 'Traffic Light', go under the first Overpass, and take the Metuchen Exit that's just immediately past the Bridge. Once on Main St, you'd go to the Ramp leading back on to Route 1 South (the Ramp is just before you'd go over the next Bridge). After you get to Route 1 South, just go through the 'Prince St' 'Traffic Light' again, and then stay to your right for the exit in to the 'Crossroads Shopping Plaza'. From the entrance Ramp into the shopping plaza, just make the first right, pass the Applebees, turn right behind the building, and right again to pass around it to their 'Parking Lot.'Quote:

Oops guess you'd be coming from north of me. Well, while I can't remember the Exit number off of Rt 287, I can say that it would be the Route 1 South Exit that you want, then it's like an immediate right on to the Route 1 South Ramp, then just follow the rest of the directions from the 'Prince St' 'Traffic Light.' |

Hope my directions, the corrected ones that is, help you find that Applebees. So far, looks like this will be a party of 2-3Quote:
