bushmasters have a pretty good plinking reputation. I'm sure you'll love it. now I just have to get off my ass and start piecing together mine.

i was doing some research on they and supposedly the stag arms guns have a cleaner operation than the bushmaster which would require less cleaning and most likely more longevity in the long run

I don't actually have any of the parts yet, but it will most likely be set up like martins except no carry handle.

ETA: I vote for CMMG. that's what I'll be going with anyway.

an ar15 op system is liek anyother its a rotating locking bolt unless you get a piston upper. alot of the dirtiness has to deal with the ammo. everyone shoots wolf and its dirty as ****. stag is probably the best bang for the buck out there, if you build one yourself you will save 100-200 easily on it

on this topic i have Rifle qualification this weekend. shooting for expert again. gotta beat my bootcamp record of 220. i should do better. i think we are all qualifying with the M4s though...which sucks because i got a new m16 recently issued to me and I have it all nice and zeroed perfectly.

and im pretty sure military issued ammo is dirty to no? its all mass produced junk. cleaning weapons is consistent no matter what.
