I haven't raced the car since I was 17...that's why I mentioned my age.
edit- btw, I like that the mods haven't locked this thread yet. Everyone just needs to loosen up every once in a while instead of acting like we're in a church atmosphere.

why do people stick 12 bolts under stock drivetrains? same reason people get trailers i guess.....

Everyone has their own opinion on what is a street car... As for me, I built my car to drive it. By no means is it the fastest thing out there but I can fill it up at WaWa, drive an hour to the track, stage the car without ever shutting it off, and bust off bottom 11's on motor with a tight nitrous converter and 3.92 gear. Doesn't seem to extraordinary but this is a 10:1 350 built in my backyard using hand-me-down parts. It's never been on a dyno, never been wrenched on by a shop, and I haven't even touched the tune since putting it together... It's been together for a year now and the only maintenance I've done is change the oil. The only time it's broke on me is when my alternator took a dump at Atco but I made it all the way home on nothing but walmart battery power.
If that isn't a street car then I don't know what is...

Trailering your car to the track is probably the best thing you can do. It doesnt mean its not a street car. If i had a truck and trailer, id take mine there instead of using AAA or asking for favors if i broke something.
