All to happy to speed up, not to happy to slow down

This should help to fix that...

The way the parts are arranged, it looks like a smiley face. Now go make your car smile.

I've been doing more research on the kit. The calipers are the same as a C5.
I looked at the C5 conversion kit from LG and it's a little cheaper, but the rotors aren't as good.

I did the C5 Z06 conversion on my IROC. Highly suggested. I had all my machine work done for free so my total cost came out to about $400....about 1/3 or 1/4 of what the Baer kit costs I'm sure. GM sells slotted cross drilled rotors for about $48 each.

(Watch for a story on my swap in GMHTP in a few months maybe)

mmmm that looks nice. I cant believe the price of brake systems. My dad just got his set for his Project 33 Hemi Plymouth and damn, they are amazing pieces, but expensive.

I don't know if you need custom caliper brackets but I still think the Z06 brakes will help you out a lot and the cash you save can be used on other mods. Here's a pic of mine....sorry about the size

What makes the Baer kit worth it is the rotors. I'm pretty sure that you save about 13lbs. of the front end going with the two piece rotor. Since the next power-adding mod won't be done for a while, I'm looking for some weight savings.

Those aren't decals....they're raised aluminum cast right onto the caliper, plus it adds to the flashiness.

I hear you on the weight savings, but is 13lbs worth almost a grand?
