kill story
alright im not gonna try to dress this up or make it sound good but i thought it was kinda entertaining.... this morning on my way home from work i pulled up to a 06 sti on rt 130 he revved his engine i revved mine u know the deal..... light turns green he got me off the line by about 2 car lengths (damn awd) from 2nd gear through 3rd slowly reeled him in and ended up beating him by about a car length we slowed back down do about 40 he beeped 3 times and we went from a roll he got bout half a car length and i started pulling on him again bewat him by about a car and a half.... threw my 4 ways on and slowed down to bout 65 and started cruising all of the sudden i hear a fart cannon look over and a mid 90's white civic hatch comes blowing by both of us in the shoulder while we're just cruising then proceeds to throw on his 4 ways and keeps going.... anyway i just found it entertaining i know the sti shoulda really won if u look at the numbers but one of 2 things happened
A.- the tune and lid helped that much that i could pull on the sti
B- the guy wasnt an excellent driver (which is probably what happened)

awd is great for launching but adds not only weight but parasitic drag which isnt good for top end...thats why you see many sy/ty guys going to just rwd.
