i did the a/c delete on my camaro over the summer. i kept the heater system in. my ? is the flap on top of the motor. what does that send air to. the pic i'm attaching points to the flap when the flap is just normal. when the vac line is on it makes the flap go up to the top. who knows our heater system???

Most of the folks on here would complain about weight and simply rip off whatever doesn't make the car go, or stay together at high speed.

What did you learn? How'd you make out?

Another reason why we need the lessons learned section on these forums up.

well i needed to know how the whole system worked. which flap opened for which air direction. how the air flow worked. i just played with the knobs till i found out which flap opened at what time. and since i did the a/c delete a while ago i ended up taking more stuff out that i didn't need for cold air directions.

i pulled out my AC and HEAT in mid 2006, and just took EVERYTHIGN out, i have it all in my basement; but dont remember waht flap ur speaking of, or where it lead; just kinda play around with it by hand.

-i shed 64 pounds by removing the heat and ac, but i did it more for the cleaner look; and because i never never used either system.. im a windows down guy
